Leicester City v Everton BTTS YES 4/6 on Virgin Bet
Leicester City have a point to prove after crashing out in the Europa Conference League semi-finals on Thursday night. Brendan Rodgers will be keen to ensure his team don’t now stagger to the end of the season. A win against in danger Everton would do them the world of good on the back of the Roma result.
Everton impressed against Chelsea last weekend. They pressed well throughout and took their chance when it came. Jordan Pickford was outstanding throughout the game, ensuring they picked up a vital three points.
Both teams will be desperate to win, for differing reasons. Expect goals in this one, and that is why it is the first selection on our BTTS accumulator.
Norwich City v West Ham BTTS NO 23/20 on Virgin Bet
Norwich are already relegated to the Championship, and have only scored 22 goals all season. It has been a disastrous return to the Premier League, but under manager Dean Smith they will be confident next season of bouncing back.
West Ham, like Leicester, crashed out of Europe midweek. They are still 7th in the league, which would see them return to Europe next season, but need to be wary of the chasing Wolves, who have a game in hand. Their big guns will return to the team for this one, so expect a solid West Ham performance both in defence and up top.
I can’t see Norwich troubling West Ham too much in this game, making this a BTTS no on our accumulator.
Manchester City v Newcastle United BTTS YES 13/10 on Virgin Bet
Another Premier League team that crashed out of Europe this week was Man City. Their dramatic extra time defeat to Real Madrid will live long in the memories of many, but Pep will be hoping his team forget about the result and move on quickly. They need to keep up their performances in the league, with Liverpool matching them stride for stride in the league so far.
Newcastle United have been the form team in the second half of the season. They looked set for relegation, but with Eddie Howe as manager they’ve been outstanding. The players are playing for their future with a big summer incoming at the Toon. They will be a tricky opponent for City, we could have a big twist in the title race in this game – which is why it is a yes for BTTS from us.
Arsenal v Leeds United BTTS NO 11/10 on Virgin Bet
Arsenal are in prime position to return to Champions League football next season. They are even looking up to 3rd with Chelsea faltering of late. They have been playing fantastic football in the last few weeks. Expect goals from them, especially with Eddie Nketiah leading the line.
