La Liga giants Barcelona are still pursuing highly rated Liverpool defender Daniel Agger. The Spanish side has been linked with the Dane since last season but Spanish radio station Cadena SER have claimed that Agger might well be on his way to Camp Nou in the summer.
A major Belgian newspaper Berlingske has also reported the news, though they used the Spanish radio station as their source.
The 29 year old has a contract with Liverpool till 2016 and has featured just 19 times for Brendan Rodgers’ side this season thanks to an injury ravaged campaign.
With Martin Skrtel having a fantastic season for the Premier League table toppers and Mamadou Sakho preferred as first choice, Agger, has fallen down the ranks of defensive options for manager Brendan Rodgers.
The reports have claimed that Barcelona are desperate to address their defensive frailties in the summer and have been scouting the left footed centre back in England for quite some time now. It is believed that Agger has impressed the onlookers watching from the stands and the Dane will now be subject to a bid in the summer.
So what do you think Should Rodgers let go Agger if Barcelona offer substantial money in the coming transfer market
