On the face of it, it seems like a closely fought contest but in reality it was simply Inter Milan brilliance in the first half producing 4 goals – first from Javier Zanetti, a penatly from Samuel Eto’o after a Huerelho Gomes red card, one from Dejan Stankovic and finally another from Eto’o.

Second half saw Gareth Bale score seven minutes in and then completes his hat-trick in the dying moments of the game.
