May 31, 2025 7:04 AM

Chelsea host Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Wednesday aiming to boost their hopes of securing a top four finish this season.

The Blues head into the game sixth in the table, three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal with a game in hand.

Spurs are currently third, six points adrift of leaders Liverpool following their shock defeat at Burnley over the weekend.

Chelsea were beaten 3-1 in the reverse fixture – Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min were on target for Spurs.

The two sides also met in the Carabao Cup semi-finals, with Chelsea progressing after a penalty shoot-out.

They were beaten on penalties in Sunday’s final against Manchester City and will be eager to bounce back this evening.
