The new shirt is not much different from their classic strip. The red and white stripes along with black collar and black trim on the sleeves. The collar and the trim on the sleeves is the only major difference in the shirt. Sunderland’s 10/11 home shirt has a red collar and a red trim.

Also this time, the red stripe is placed in the center instead of the white stripe in the 2010/2012 kits.

The Umbro logo is placed on the right of the chest and the Sunderland crest on the left. The sponsor logo is placed in the middle of the front of the shirt.
